What in tarnation?

I JUST REALIZED I WROTE A POEM!

I strongly dislike poetry, so I'm really surprised!

However, my main point is about progress reports; grades are due tomorrow, but I feel as if I haven't learned very much as I used to in school.

Not that my grades are terrible, but they definitely could be a lot better. Anyways, my point is still up for question: why is school all about grades nowadays?

What happened to learning?

What happened to learning?

It seems that no one really cares about school anymore; at least the way we should be caring about it. School to high schoolers is all about passing or getting a good grade.

What happened to learning?

When did school become all about passing, and not about learning? It's not even the student's faults! All teachers care about is that they have grades put into the grading system, and not wether the students actually understand the concepts they are being taught.

So what happened to learning?

Is to hiding, taking a break, or just changing over time?

Gatsby Chapter 4

Gatsby is someone who is very conservative about his life. However, as Nick and him are driving, he wants Nick to trust him and know more about him and his true self. Gatsby starts to tell stories about his past to prove himself. He starts to tell Nick where he is from, what he did with his life, etc. One story from Jordan related to Gatsby and Daisy that says a lot about them. He says how he has been in love with Daisy even before he left for the war. Daisy however, has always stayed faithful to Tom, but he hasn't.
